People are meant to be connected and belong to the Earth as a whole. But the separation of countries took away many privileges from individuals. It limited people with access to resources and made it harder for people to move between countries. Separated nations made people think of others as different or strange or sometimes enemies, which led to unfair treatment and stereotypes. This made people feel like they don't fit in or belong.
The VF Foundation formed movement known as Global Family (Vishwo Pariwar) that works to bring people together. The concept of Global Family is to unify the people physically, psychologically and spiritually, from those separated countries into one family with better relations and feeling of selfless service. It aims to create a global family where individuals support and care for each other. The foundation organizes events and platforms where people can meet and connect with each other through different mediums. The foundation also talks to important people and works with other groups to make sure everyone is treated fairly, no matter where they're from. They teach people about being understanding and kind to others, so that everyone can feel like they belong. "
The Eco Spiritual Yoga Ashram lies in Barang village, at about 12 kilometers from Pokhara. The village is about ten minutes away from Ghatichina, a small town, where two rivers meet to form at the source of the Phewa Lake. It is an area with natural caves, an abundance of nature, that also has a clear view of Mt. Macchapuchre. Located away from the din and bustle of the city, and every inch of its grounds radiates with positive energy and calm. This is where the ashram organizes instructive sessions on SMART Yoga, meditation and sermons on the philosophies of life and peaceful coexistence every day.

It is a situation where individuals can overcome fear by connecting with their subconscious minds. While firewalking, individuals tread on fire barefoot but are not affected by the flames or the heat. Firewalking is a way of testing one’s limits and getting outside the comfort zone, it is about accomplishing something that you thought was impossible. There are similar situations in life that we think are not achievable. Well, if you can walk on fire, you have already opened the doors of possibilities. The idea is that if the fire did not stop you from walking over it, there should be no obstacle big enough to prevent you from attaining your worldly goals, because you will not stop trying.”

Systematic stretching is about learning six main positions or Asans, and once you learn the six, you can easily learn many more positions, because it has a scientific approach to it. This system was developed by Dr. Yogi Vikashananda in 1995. While doing this Asan, every part of the body – from the toes up – is stretched and released in a rhythm thus releasing stress both physical and mental.
M= Mindful/Meditative
All the positions or Asans are done while being mindful or aware, therefore it is also meditative.
A= Amusing
This approach to yoga also includes fun elements or even laughter sessions. For each position, because you fully stretch your body for 1-3 minutes your body also becomes flexible and attractive.
R = Respirative
Breathing correctly is key for obtaining the promised benefits of yoga. Therefore, through SMART yoga, you not only acquire physical wellbeing but also the benefits respiration. Pranayam is integral to all Asans.
